March has been the month of ‘boons’ for SecQ.me, bringing out luck and a couple of surprises. From being selected for ‘I-Dare Business plan Competition’, attending its workshop in Abu Dhabi to being published in Malaysia’s most prominent Printed Business Mag, “The Edge” to being featured on ‘entrepreneurs.my’, the month of March brought fortune.
Needless to say, this has never been possible without the support and encouragement of our users across the globe who have continued to give constructive feedback on our app by writing to us frequently. We thank you and value our customers with special thanks to Nancy Perry who not only gave valid suggestions on our iphone app but agreed to be our beta tester herself.

After winning a grand prize of US$ 10,000 at GISTech-1 in Istanbul, Turkey, secQ.me received an invitation of participating in GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology) largest competition – ‘I-Dare Business Plan Competition’ (http://gist.crdfglobal.org/gist-programs/business-plan-competition). From the competitive pool of around 500 entries from 43 countries, SecQme made into the top ’20 Semi-finalists’! Nizran Noordin, SecQme Co-Founder represented the company in a two-day Entrepreneurship Workshop in Abu Dhabi on March 18-19, 2012 (conducted jointly with MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Business Plan Competition) - http://www.youtube.com/

It was indeed an honour for SecQ.me to be published on ‘entrepreneurs.my’. Entrepreneurs.my interviews successful entrepreneurs all around Asia and is the successful venture of Michael Teoh!
Another ‘boon’ for the company was its showcasing in ‘Startup Asia Singapore’ 2012! Startup Asia showcases newly launched and product-ready tech startups. It showcases only startups which are born in Asia. Showcasing and pitching among the leading Tech startups of Asia in 2012 was undoubtedly another milestone in the short history of SecQ.me!
